My Keepon

My Keepon™ is an interactive robotic toy for kids of all ages. In its touch mode, it responds to pokes, pats, and tickles with a rich variety of emotional movements and sounds. In its dance mode, it hears the beat in music or clapping and dances in synchronized rhythm. Coming to stores this fall!

Keepon Pro

Keepon® Pro is a social robot designed for interaction with children, particularly those with developmental disorders such as autism. Under the control of a therapist, this robust hardware/software research platform serves as a social facilitator and as a recording tool in the playroom or lab.

Robot Film Fest

The Robot Film Festival is a celebration of stories about machines, held July 16-17, 2011 at the 3LD Art & Technology Center in New York. The festival features Spike Jonze’s I’m Here; fifty submitted short films in the themes of Robots Invading, Robots in Rhythm, Robots in Use, and Robots in Love; a “Botsker” award [...]

Spazzi

Spazzi™ is a build-it-yourself dancing robot that we designed for MAKE Magazine. It incorporates off-the shelf solenoids and electronic components, an Arduino, and plastic parts that you can print on your MakerBot or other 3D printer. The article is at MAKE, instructions are at Make:Projects, and the components are at Thingiverse.

Media

The character of Keepon® has evolved through a series of music videos that take the dancing robot around the world in search of music and friends. And Keepon’s more serious research goals have been featured across a wide variety of media, from Entertainment Weekly to the Today Show.

Well, Marek randomly met her at a sidewalk cafe in Brooklyn, and invited her to come to the Robot Film Festival. She was [...]
